The Ritzy

If you’re looking for a quiet drink with friends and family, whether you’re seeing a film or not, The Ritzy bar offers a relaxed and cosy atmosphere in the heart of Brixton that lasts late into the evening, with spacious outdoor seating and a varied mix of tunes playing in the background.

It’s a casual and versatile space, serving hearty sit-down meals, bar grub and quick bites, along with locally sourced beers, a selection of cocktails and a generous offering of wines and bubbly.

If you like a curated programme of live events to go with your pale ale or Prosecco, head up to the Upstairs bar. With a great balcony overlooking Windrush Square, a late night licence, and a wide variety of live bands, DJs, parties, screenings, quizzes and other activities, Upstairs at the Ritzy has become an important cultural hub for Brixton and the surrounding community.

We also host private hires in the Upstairs bar, so if you’re looking for a venue to host your birthday party, wedding reception (or wedding!), baby shower, album/book launch or something else you might have planned, get in touch!
